About Us

Where we work

The Crocodile Islands are located at the top of Australia in north east Arnhem Land, approximately 500km east of Darwin. There are over 20 islands in the Crocodile Islands Group, and the Rangers manage approximately 40,000 hectares of land, 200km of coastline and 6000km2 of sea country. The Rangers are based on Milingimbi Island, and work on both the mainland and island areas. Most of their outer island work is focused on Rapuma Island, Murrungga Island, and the remote Gurriba Island.
